Phishing-Fraudulent E-Mail Scams Your Credit Union has taken steps to secure additional domain names to help protect our members from "Phishing Scams". This helps to reduce the risk of scam artists from using look-a-like web sites. Here are some things you can do to protect yourself. Do not respond to e-mail requests or telephone requests that ask you to verify personal information such as user name, password, credit card number, Social Security Number, or checking account number. Be suspicious if an e-mail request asks you to respond immediately. Don’t click on the Web links within an e-mail message if you suspect a scam. Please report to the Credit Union any and all e-mail requests for information from NCUA, CUNA, CUNA Mutual, CO-OP Network, or requests that use any portion of the Credit Union’s name. The named groups and the Credit Union do not request information in this manner. Call 989-799-8636 and we will assist you in reporting such incidents to the appropriate authorities. DO NOT RESPOND TO SUCH REQUESTS! Only use secure Web sites-those that have"https://", rather than just "http://" (without the ‘s’)-if you use your credit card number.
