Mid Michigan Family Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative, owned and operated by its members.

Mid Michigan Family Credit Union provides services and benefits for its members, rather than earning profits for stockholders. All profits are returned to the members in the form of higher dividends, and lower cost loans.

The direction and policies of Mid Michigan Family Credit Union are planned by a volunteer Board of Directors who are elected by and from the membership.

All members are equal and each receives one vote no matter how many shares they own.

Membership at Mid Michigan Family Credit Union is open to:

1. Persons who work, live, or worship in the County of Saginaw, Michigan;
2. Members of record as of the date of the merger of the Tri-County Building Trades Credit Union, Freeland, Michigan, effective April 17, 1986;
3. Any person who receives a retirement annuity, pension, social security, or similar retirement payment from private or government sources, and lives in, or belongs to a retirement organization located in the county, or in a county contiguous to Saginaw County;
4. Employees of this credit union;
5. Members of the immediate families of the foregoing;
6. Any legal entity that is comprised for the most part of the same general group as the membership of the credit union as outlined above;
7. A spouse of a deceased member if accepted into membership prior to remarriage.
